You can access electronic journals, e-books and databases via GöDiscovery, the Göttingen University Catalogue (GUK), the Electronic Journals Library (EZB) or the Database Information System (DBIS).

Open Access publications are freely available to everyone. However, there are different access rights for licensed e-media, i. e. those for which the library has to pay. These depend on the status of the user and the location:

• You are located within the campus network of the University of Göttingen: Licensed e-media can be used without restrictions. Exceptions may apply to e-books.
• You are located outside the campus network: Only members of the University of Göttingen (students, staff) can use licensed e-media after authentication by library card number and password; exceptions may apply to a few licenses.
