If the HAN server fails, access to electronic media from computers assigned to the Göttingen campus network is possible via the publisher's URL.

Members of the University can connect to the campus network via VPN from outside Göttingen University and access resources as described.

When using the guest login on our onsite catalogue computers (for unregistered library users), access is unfortunately not possible should the HAN server fail.

The publisher URLs can be found in the journal detail view under 'Homepage(s)' in the general information about the online edition of the journal.

Please note that if there are several publisher URLs in the 'Homepage(s)' field, access is sometimes only possible via one of the URLs listed.

With databases, select the URL that is designated as 'Publisher URL', usually listed in the field 'Further licensed accesses'. For databases in which the term 'Publisher URL' is not used, select the URL that does not contain either 'han.sub.uni-goettingen.de' or 'External Access'.

From the GUK links of e-journals and online databases are forwarded to the respective gateway (EZB, DBIS). For e-books the link marked 'Full text, campus access' must be selected.
