The group emerged from the field of action ‘Scientific Publication System’ of the focus initiative ‘Digital Information’ of the Alliance of German Science Organizations in Spring 2019. As one of the founding members of the group SUB Göttingen is also involved in the cooperative management team.

Forum 13+ recently published the ‘Forum 13+-Spektrum zur Bewertung von Open-Access-Transformationsverträgen und Verlagsangeboten’ (Spectrum on the assessment of open access transformation contracts and publishers' offers) through the SUB Göttingen, which has already been received in the national and international professional context.
