Contribution to the project 'Superstar Incentives - Collaborations, awards and their impact on the development of economic science'
In the project 'Superstar Incentives - Collaborations, awards and their impact on the development of economic science' by Mark McCabe, the influence of Nobel Prizes and other science awards in economics on citations of the winners in economics literature, especially on the citation frequency of the scientific work of Nobel Prize winners and their co-authors, is examined.
In support of the project, the Software and Service Development group developed a tool that enables researchers to extract and prepare metadata from the Web of Science, including lists of cited articles.
