Members of the University of Göttingen and the University Medical Center Göttingen receive the following support for Open Access publishing in the journals of the Royal Society London within the publisher's offer. As part of the consortium with the publisher, it participates in a contractual agreement based on the publish-and-read model.

Publishing in hybrid journals: 'Corresponding Authors' are given the opportunity to publish their articles in subscription-based journals open access free of charge via the so-called 'Read-and-Publish License'. Gold Open Access
Publishing in genuine Gold Open Access journals: 'Corresponding Authors' are given the opportunity to publish free of charge in the two Open Access journals offered via the agreement made. Publication costs are covered by the existing agreement and are concerned:
The publication process for authors
The 'Corresponding Author' is identified through his institution Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (including the University Medical Center Göttingen) and recognized as eligible.
In addition to publication in the publisher, the article is made available and archived via GRO.publications, the publication server of the University of Göttingen.
